Monday, 15th May 2023: I arranged a coffee morning at the Community Hub in Shrewsbury and invited the Syrian ladies with Holly and Miranda in order to speak about breast, cervical and bowel cancer.

The session started out informally and we enjoyed Turkish coffee and biscuits. The ladies shared their feedback and found the session very useful, especially the Arabic YouTube videos which they said were very helpful.

This was especially true for the prostate cancer video which they found very insightful to share with their male relatives.

The girls were amazed at the Arabic leaflets which Holly and Miranda shared with them. The girls are now familiar with the possibility of finding other Arabic translated leaflets for other health conditions. It was a very successful event.
