Clinical cancer lead supports cancer champion project in Powys

As part of the work to raise awareness of the Cancer Champions initiative , Miranda (Lingen Davies Livelife team lead) and Helen (Powys Cancer Champions Coordinator) recently met with Dr Ruth Corbally (Powys Clinical Lead for Cancer Renewal Programme & Macmillan GP Cancer Lead for Powys Teaching Health Board ) to discuss opportunities for collaborative working and learn more about the work of other cancer services in Powys.

Dr Ruth Corbally is keen to spread the word about the importance of early presentation of signs and symptoms and uptake of screening through the training of cancer champions.
